Got a last minute tip on this excellent Garmin GPS: Garmin GPSMAP 60CSx GPS. It was on sale from $300+ down to $199 until end of day today.
I went by REI in Redmond today, and naturally, it's sold out.
Ordered one online, and given it's over $75, shipping is free with my membership. Sadly, it's now backordered for 2 - 3 weeks. Meh, good unit, excellent price, bound to happen.
Oh well, still a great deal on a good unit and I'm grateful for the tip. Thanks Dave.
Now I need to buy a mount.
