Easy going solo trip with time to spare.

  • Leaving Houston for Ozarks. Then Branson
  • then on to Nashville
  • then on to Blue ridge parkway
  • then down through Northern Georgia
  • then to Birmingham
  • then back to Houston

Don't mind detours. Just looking to kick back and relax.

Can anyone suggest good roads in this region. includes Kentucky, Va, WVA , NC , SC, Maryland, Penn

Thanks

TN:

Don't miss the Dragon HWY 129 east of Maryville TN (might still be closed from the TN side but you can get on from the NC side)

NC: Cherohala (perhaps my favorite road) Hwy 143 and Hwy 165 around Robbinsville, NC - you have to go on this road, Have to!

VA: You can continue onto the Skyline Drive which continues where the BRP ends up north - goes all the way to Front Royal VA.

Have fun!

You will be passing near the Talimena Scenic Byway on your way to the Ozarks. Well worth a detour. Clicky.

When will you be making this round about.

Put yourself in the Ozarks around Eureka Springs for SFO and hang with us for a couple days.

SFO is the weekend of May 13-16.
