This is the first site I've been on where they go up on the front pressure in the twisties. My 06 came with Bridgestones and the user's manual says 40F/42R. Funny, my Sprint uses the same tires and for Avons and MEZ4/Z6 it's 36/42.

Pirelli Diablo Stradas

Rider Weight: 183 lbs.

Front: 36 psi

Rear: 38 psi

With Mich Pilot Roads

Front: 38

Rear: 40

With Z4 Metzlers

Front: 0

Rear: 0

I cut them off as quickly as possible.

IF you are new to the FJR try running 38 in the front, then 42 and see what feels best to you, then do the same in the rear.

This is not rocket science dude. But monitoring your tirepressure is a royal pain in the anus, so get one of these babies

It may be a pain in the butt but I always check tires on the pre-flight. An experienced rider can feel a tire going down and if it's a catastrophic tire failure, an LED read out won't help. It is a real nice farkle though.
