Well I've worn through the Storms...

2 Rears (2nd still has some life left, maybe 1k?) But the Front is TOAST at just over 10k miles.

I mean the last 1800 miles were virtually unbearable. I'll take photos later but it's started cupping and wearing really funny, baddly on one side even. (Yes, I kept the pressures up, and I can't really fault it given the mileage).

Based on this last experience, and the fact that the front wore out before the end of life on the rear (thus causing my ride and handling to be 'all jacked up'). I think my days of trying to get 2 rears to 1 front are over. I'd rather replace them as a set.

Now what to try next?

I was really planning on the Pilot Road 2's but those fookers are expensive.

Best price I've found thus far on the net is $308 for a set, but I don't think that includes shipping. A set from SW Moto is $310.

I'm thinking I might try the BT 021's or maybe even the Strada E's both can be had for under $250 for the set.

Thoughts? Anyone? Beuller?

On my second set ( ist was on my SV ) of the 021's. I like them alot. To me, the are very reminescent of the 010's I used to run on my 929. Only mileage will tell......
