I think the best place to buy anything is somewhere that folks you know have provided you with good references for great products and services and after sale response to issues that might arise. The best measure of a company or a product is not that it never has a glitch but how well they correct your glitch. Everyone and everything has a bad day but the ****** companies never focus on correcting the mistake or remembering that the customer is the only reason they are in business. It helps if their prices are competitive but do not have to be rock bottom. My 4 cents!

I have a dealer about 45 miles away that is pretty trustworthy and have done business with for years. Could get stuff cheaper through the net but since I don't have the tire mounting equipment (or expertise) I use them. Seems rather tacky to walk in and say "I bought these cheap now put them on for me."

There is a dealer (will not mention name) that is local (Yakima) but refuse to ever go into his establishment again. :angry2:

My sediment is find someone who will do good, honest work at a fair price and support your local economy.

I agree ...Southwest Moto tires....great prices...within a buck or two of anyone on the net...and free shipping when u buy two tires....and they're at ur house in a couple of days....

Great Prices, free shipping when buying a set of tires, quick delivery, no sales tax.
I have also used SW Moto and I agree with the above statements. But, yeah theres a but! If you have a problem with a tire you have to ship it back to them and pay for the return shipping on your dime.

I'm going Brick and Mortar for now on to a local tire dealer. :)

Five years ago when I burned up the first set of tires off the FJR I found a local independent shop that sold and mounted tires. He is within $10 a set of SW Mototires but mounts and balances for free. Plus at a reduced labor charge for me he will take the wheels off and re-install while I wait. Pretty sweet deal.

I am not looking to start a debate on tires, but am interested in the best place to buy tires.
Thanks.
I started a thread on this. did some research, click Mr happy for the results :)

note also that this was back in May but i have since ordered several things from Onida and they always deliver in a very timley fashion and so far the tires have been great.
