So I purchased my new/used 06 FJR last year and joined the club yaaa \o/ and so last year I rode put in gas, oil changes and 2 tire changes as I enjoyed this fine machine. As winter closed I had logged 10k miles and had 13.5k on the OD so I figured I would give Stormy some love. Changed the spark plugs and went to the iridiums, made a difference to me I love em and look forward to going longer between plug changes. Removed and blocked off PAIR system, made my own blanking plugs at work on lathe out of aluminium. Bought and did throttle body synch as well as did spring unwind one turn on throttle. Bought a nice cheep vacuum pump and changed all break fluids and clutch as well (very nasty). last I bought my second farkle for her and mounted a ram x mount, i didn't buy the motorcycle Larry stem mount as I had access to all this nice equipment so I made one. All of this was possible from the wealth of info, pictures and projects provided from this forum as well as the fellowship and so I would like to thank all of you here for your contributions. Remainder of this year will be lots of riding as work permits with oil and tire changes and perhaps a new battery. Next years winter TLC will be a valve check, new style cam chain tensioner and a new starter. 3rd farkle I want is to add a pelican box to the rear much like the one I have seen at a RTE. Again many thanks and see you out on the road.
