Wife and I went over to Stadium Yamaha in Irving today to look at the new TMAX that I put a deposit on over two months ago.We were the first in line to get one in Dallas.We had the money burning a hole in our pockets.I have never been so blown away by a scooter.It is by far the sexiest thing on two wheels.Wife absolutely loved the color and style.Has an FJR looking front,tail lights are very bright and the electronics are incredible.Has trip reminders built in to tell you when something needs to be serviced,avg mpg should be around 50+ and top speed should be pushing the century mark.Storage is incredible.It also has a cradle for your cell phone and installed power outlets for cell phones and other gear.No need to spend extra money for that farkle since it is a factory standard issue.Akropovic even makes a pipe for it!Yamaha also makes a few extra farkles for it too.Also found links for sound systems and electronic cruise controls too.Seat felt good for any large butted person.So much more than expected and ready to take on any long distance trip in comfort.Unfortunately it didnt come home with us.When we finally tried to swing our legs over it there was a big drawback for both of us and that thing is so TALL!This was supposed to be for my wife and with a 26 inch inseam and me with a 29 it aint happening.Seat height is almost 32 inches.Jason went out of his way to see if there was any way if it could be lowered.Just not possible.Bummer.
