It was 70 and sunny on the 21st, so I took a vacation day and went for a ride through East Central Ohio. I was hoping to do a day trip to SE OH, but didn't get going as soon as I wanted - It was a vacation day after all and work has been crazy. For those familar with the area, I went south on Route 800 to 212, across to 39 and then south on 43 to the southern edge of Carroll County. Route 212 passes right thorugh the Atwood Lake Region, so I took the opportunity to stop a get a few pics...Since I remembered my camera :D . This was my first ride on this second half of this route, but won't be my last. Just under 300 miles for the day. It was a great use of a vacation day :clapping:

Here is the Dover Dam, on Rt 800:

And the roads weren't too bad either - Maybe doesn't compare with SE OH roads, but they are definately a fun ride:

Don't understand why Ohio is considered a "Pass-Through" state, they have tons of beautiful roads and little towns every 20 miles in every direction. I lived in Piqua for many years and rode my XS1100 all over Ohio.

Great pics Gizmo!!

Thanks for sharing! I live just east of Cincinnati and love eastern Ohio. Never seem to make it up in the northern half though. Maybe I'll make it a goal for next year.
