If you have to pick out 100 of the ugliest bikes ever, how many are left? There are some really nice looking bikes in that group (and a lot of ugly ones). I really liked the looks of the Yamaha BT1100 Mastino Napoletano, and remember the Yamaha Vision? A lot of Honda's, Buell's and Ducati's in there that I agree with, though. The new Concours is in there as an ugly bike, but not the old Concours? Go figure.

I love bikes. All bikes. I might be able to call a few ugly, but I could count them on one hand.

Looking at the list, I'd ride any of 'em to the 7-11. If there was a 7-11 around here...

+1 on the Yammy BT1100

I think about half the bikes he says are ugly are pretty damn nice looking. To each his own I guess. One funny thing...he likes the ST1300 Honda, but thinks the Feejer is ugly...go figure

Opinions are like ***holes...everybody has one. I agree with rushes, there are only a handful of bikes I would consider ugly. And even they might not be that offensive once in the pilots seat.

Wow, 3 out of 5 of the bikes I've owned made his list.

Honda CB400F, Yamaha Vision, and, of course, the FJR. I love them all.

I have to admit, he was right about some of the others.

Yes, opinions are like @$$#ole$ and this clown proved it. He doesn't like super or hyper motards so all of them are pretty standard. He left off all the big-pig H-D hunks of crap that look like cartoons out of Who Framed Roger Rabbit?

And he left out the INCREDIBLY ugly bikes from Confederate, which does double duty in ugly for naming a bike the NBF, for Nathan Bedford Forrest, one of the founders of the Ku Klux Klan--for that ALONE I will NEVER own or ride a Confederate. It's up there with the "Adolph Hitler" model!

And he left out the Yamaha 1981 650 Maxim...I owned that bike and it was the UGLIEST POS on two wheels. It broke more often than my old Zook '71 T-250!

NOBODY can tell me that the coolest bike of the late 60's and early 70's, the Mach 3 wasn't ugly. It was butt-ugly but that didn't keep it from being the coolest, hippest and most DANGEROUS bike of its time.

Looks like he's from Toronto..............a Canuck

This is embarrassing

It was funny, but I didn't recall seeing a Harley on the "list".

He's just jealous.......yeah that's it!!!

Well, I agree with him on most of those bikes. I do like some of them. Of course I like the FJR, though he picked one with the big stripes, which I don't personally care for. The Bimota Tesi 2D and 3D are both cool in my opinion.

OMG!!! My very first steet bike made the list....

And just think, back then I thought it looked good.

What a sad and lonely life this writer must have. Granted, there were a couple of not so good looking motorcycles on that list but ugly is such a subjective term when applied to bikes. How on earth could anyone see an FJR as ugly? and the 400Four that I used to dream about as a teenager....

I didn't look at all the categories but the ones I did see had no American Cruisers featured. Perhaps this writer is a fan of THOSE kind of motorcycles? That might account for a lot of things.

Heck.......... I owned about 6 or 7 of them bikes.... yes ...some are weird looking, but once you

massage them with your own style and tweeks..... you can make anything good....... almost.....

and like Penquin said..... I did have a 440four.... blue model and it was a blast.... who made this guy king of

cool ??

just sayin......

He's correct on some but to include the FJR when the Honda ST looks like a big scooter - can't figure that one out.

Maybe I should create a blog and get everyone to read my opinions.

Gees.

Well, you made me look, and thank you, because I had a great laugh looking at this bike and reading its description, which was hilarious:

"The Fighter clarifies opaqueness and nullifies hype with straight-forward true to concept certitude.  At the source is a classic right triangle.  Proportion is classically derived.  Scale is middle way.  Bearing exudes structural permanence. Human integration deploys yang energy, vitality, and power in the most simple, pure and direct form.  Geometry is optimized for the medium and/or long disciplined journey of sensory heightened motion.  Torque to weight is maximized.  Engine, suspension and ergonomic luxury and ease of use is optimized.  Materials utilization is the finest. Individual piece and component specification is highest and best.

Craft preparation and specification is uncompromised.  The aesthetic is fresh, industrial, sculptural, holistic and honest.  The saddle of the Fighter is your place for those outings which require extended time, geography, meditation and distance.  Personal liberation will result!"

Based on the seat design, I think they might actually end this text with "Personal flatulation will result!"

Translated, though, you could read this into it: "The Fighter... (is a super expensive piece of art posing as a motorcycle that you can't really ride.)"

I'm all for "cool," modern design. I like edgy stuff. But this thing is a total non-starter. Only 45 lucky souls will get to own one! (And be the subjects of derision by everyone that sees them on the thing.)

The V-Rod Muscle was in there somewhere, I think. But the "classic" (read "outdated") design Harley cruisers weren't there.
There was one outdated Harley ie. really old and ugly the never popular Sportster Boattail. Does that look like Bass Boat Blue to you
