Very Cool!! Takes me back to my youth! In the midst of a '53 Bel Air restoration/customizing project at the moment, 1/1 scale.

I don't remember those times; but I have seen them in the movies. Must be a generational thing. ;)

Awesome work though!

Wow! Just humbles me. This guy does some amaziing work. Can we really believe any picture anymore?

Glad there was a '62 Chev. My first car was a '62 Impala. Probably the best looking for the '62-'64 Chevs.

Ooooh, I beg to differ, Mr. Paul. A red '64 was the loveliest. ;) My buddy, Darrell, had one.

Why I remember, one hot Friday night, me and Darrell got Vince to buy us a bottle of peach Schnapps, and we went and picked up the Gibson twins and.....

Remarkable. Especially the winter shots.

Thank you, Roadstar.

Yes truly amazing models, sadly these good ol' times are gone and soon to be forgotten...

Your welcome !! As far as i can remember my dad always had station wagons (big family) , so nice 2 doors were left for the other drivers. To me the best Chevy that was ever made was the 58 (but not a Chevy fan though) , & it`s nice to see cars (even though there models) with chrome bumpers ,

And this is an adult. Wow. Puts more meaning into growing old is inevitable, etc...

It is realistic, though. I do give him that.

Different strokes & all that jazz...

No... it was sisters, Shannon and Bonnie, and Manley and I in the '57 '210 post'.... :)

(and the all-night drive-in movie...)

Roadstar, Old Michael and mr.paul: Here in Maricopa County, Arizona we have Hot Rods, Classics and Bike Night at The Pavilions in Scottsdale every Saturday evening.

I am also a huge fan of the mid-sixties Chevrolet Impalas. At least once a month, I see this ultra cherry 1965 409 SS with all the performance factory options show up.

In addition to every high performance option you could get from General Motors in 1965, this never left Arizona car even came with factory air conditioning. Unbelievably rare!

Last year, he had a sign on the dash offering it for sale for $30,000. Last Saturday, he showed up with a new sign reading $25,000. If it drops to $20,000; it's Papa Chuy's!

cmmf: If I luck out getting this, the six of us (including Niehart!) will go out on a road trip looking for Shannon, Bonnie, the Jennings twins AND the Gibson girls! Party On!!!

Youngster!

I remember part of this era. I believe my grandparents and parents owned some of those cars. And those houses look just like the one I grew up in until we moved to the 'burbs when I was about 9. Detached garages, etc. Good times, indeed.

Oh, and the aroma.

.....Not of the twins, boys,

-but of these.

Even now, when riding, and you come up behind an older specimen, and inhale that sweet aroma of poorly combusted hi-test.

Stiffy-inducing.
