Touring Maps

Can anybody please recommend any maps they've used for traveling in the Midwest area? Or, do the non-GPS poor folk like myself need to stick with the large Rand McNally style maps? Are there any handy smaller size maps that fit in tank bags?

Bah! Fookin' failing memory! There is a moto related map maker... D'oh! Can't remember... Where'd I see it... Try going on-line to Aerostich, he has a lot of that kinda stuff, IIRC.

Stop at the first rest area after you cross a state line. You can get the state map for free.

after reading about it here in this forum, my wife went down to the HD stealership and bought their atlas roadmap. I think its pretty cool. has all of north america, state by state and will fit in a tank bag or givi with no problem. Lots of secondary roads and popular riding routes highlighted. Less than 30. usd. But lately I've had the urge to rev my bike, but I need louder pipes.
