I did a California Sportbike School training day (Keith Code was our instructor) at Infineon Raceway (Sears Point, CA). I can't stop grinning and it may be the start of a new bad habit. :D

I've never riden a full-on sport bike before and never been on a track. Unbelievable. No cages, no double yellows, no deer, no debris, no oncoming traffic, and no speed limit. I have to do it again. I couldn't ride one of those bikes very far, but now I'm thinking maybe I need another bike. Hmmmmm.

Oh yeah. I learned some new stuff too. The instructors and support staff are terrific. And the whole show is really well organized. It was a busy day and I was beat at by the end of it.

There was an FJR riding in our group. I talked to the rider briefly. He wasn't aware of these forums and I got the impression he wasn't interested in "organized groups". It was nice to see an FJR on the track anyway.

Bike Effects was out riding and stopped by for lunch. He shot some pics (with me in them I hope). If you're listening BE, please send me awesome picture of myself draggin a knee around a corner. :agent: Okay, so I only managed to drag toe a few times, but I thought I was at extreme lean.
