I'm interested in your trade. Only "issue" is you're in New Hampshire and I'm in Colo Spgs, CO. Not sure how we would work out the trade. I have an '06 FJR "A" model (blue) with 6K miles on it. It is in like new condition as well, except where my boots have rubbed the silver panels above the footpegs. If we get to seriously discussing this, I can send pictures. Let me know if you have any interest. I'm hoping to get $10k for the bike.

At this stage in my life I need less sport and more TOURING. The FZ-1 is more SPORT and less touring.
I made the same decision. I was considering the FZ1 before I bought the FJR. From the pictures, it looks like you made a good attempt to farkle the FZ1 into a tourer, but there comes a point when your platform is the constraint.

There are some FNGs in the new member section that may have the right idea. Besides their FJR, one has an R6 and the other a Triumph 675. If it has to be one bike, it's hard to beat the FJR. :specool:
