I'm considering renting a house in the riverwalk area for the month of january. Planning on trailering bike from snowy midwest and exploring south Texas. What's traffic like getting in and out of town? Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Traffic is not bad in San ANtonio (compared to Houston) Just try tomiss rush hours (two in am and pm) and get a good local map as some exits are not marked real well. San Antonio is a good place to visit for a vacation. It seems to be pretty biker friendly, but watch out for the badder parts of town at night.
Weather should be "iffy" in January, but cold fronts only last a day or two.
