Just got my 15 last night. Is there some trick to raising the windshield besides the up/down button:)

or is mine broken?

Per the owners manual, use the Menu Switch to bring up the Windshield Adjust screen on the Function Display then use the Select Switch to move the windshield up and down. The doing of it is a lot easier than the saying of it. It's shown with pictures and arrows in the owners manual. Plus, the dealer delivering the bike to you should have gone through the operation of the motorcycle with you.

Edit: I see El 'Joe covered it while I was typing.

I had no problem with windshield adjustment, but I will admit to being initially confused about what to press to actually start the durn thing (going from gen 2 to gen 3).

I spent a good part of the last five years of my career trying to make manuals unnecessary. I had very little success.

ok

I dont have a manual but did figure it out right after my post. Next question I guess......I figured out how to lower the heat on the grips but how do you turn them off completely?

It's October. You sure you want to turn down the heated grips? You'll just have to turn them back on in a couple of weeks.

If you didn't get a manual, go back and get yours. (Check under your seat first.)

Hey, that menu 'trigger' switch? It changes the icon in the right-hand dashboard window, which is then controlled by the "+ and "-" rocker switch. Once the heat waves have disappeared from the dashboard window, it will actually take a few minutes for the grips to cool down.

rbentnail, he's YOUR neighbor. Ride over and show him.
