Anyone here have any experience with the Sprint RS? Just picked up a 2000 with 10k on it. Runs real strong, lots of low end torque & seems very smooth. Still has original tires so I took it real easy on the test ride.

Sold my 2004 FJR only two months ago, thought I was done with street riding but couldn't pass up this deal. Told the wife I was gonna flip it but thinking it might be a keeper. Paid $1500 for it so I figure I cant lose on it.

Funny thing about motorcycles, no matter what they are they all can be fun! Hell I even giggled when I use to scrap the pegs on my old Panhead. If you like it, I don't think my opinion matters!

I had a 00 or 01 Speed Triple. Lovely motor, good bike overall, similar to the RS. Great sound with a can, like ripping silk. Never had any problems except getting one seeping oil journal plug tightened under warranty. Traded it on a Vstrom 1000 for upright sit and wind protection, and I look back fondly on the triumph. Enjoy the RS, that's a stinking good deal if the bike's in decent shape. Btw, the Russell's been good on the few longer rides I've had so far this year. Thanks!

Hey Bob, glad to hear you like the seat.I"m doing a bunch of maintenance to the Triumph now but hope to have it roadworthy soon. Really feels small after all those years on the FJR.
