The weather on this coming Tues. and Wens. is supposed to be in the 70's and sunny in S.E.O.

My brother and I are riding down on Tues. and staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Logan Tues. night.

Great hot tub and pool. Good eats next door.

Most of the leaves are gone by now but there are still the same old flat, straight, and boring, roads of Southeastern Ohio.

I pray that this ride turns out better then the last one.

I might be able to run down and meet you for a bit of riding on Wednesday.....

I have got to confirm the appointment time with my clients. I am scheduled to have some on Wednesday evening. But that might be able to be changed..... ;-)

And yes! The weather does look fabulous.... And you might be suprised by the amount of color and foliage still on the trees down there. At least, we've still got a lot hanging on here in the NW.

Do it anyway, life is too short!

4 hours there and back only leaves about 2 hours of riding. I also have tickets to a Pacers game that same night at 7pm. Soo.
I was tempted for a minute too, but remembered I'll be at the Pacers game as well! Maybe we can ride in Southern Indiana instead...we have some flat, straight, and boring roads there too!

O.K.boys and girls heres the plan; Everyone interested in going meet up at the gas station at the corner of Ohio rt.83 and Ohio rt 22 just west of Cambridge, Ohio at 11:00 A.M.

Wheels-up at 11:20. (That's a little pilot lingo for philjet09 Who will be 15 time zones away)

So far it's gray ray, bockelrider, Scrapedup, and Denny.

Make sure you all have the same plans!!

Not to mess anything up, but the dates are not correct I think. Today is the 2nd and I am watching Monday night football. Tomorrow is the 3rd and also known as Tuesday. Either way, I don't get to skip school and ride with you all on such a fine looking day!!

Have a great time. My work here is done!

Ray is old...ya gotta give him a break...he's probably not even looking at this year's calendar. But just try to keep up with him.

I rode with Ray and company yesterday and both wheels pretty much stayed down all day...other than my little drop in a WV parking lot.Compared to what happened on our last ride,I can't complain.Just some scratches.

The weather was perfect, the roads were good but a lot more traffic than normal in southeast Ohio.A lot of fracking related traffic on 147 and WV 250.Amos Hollow/Proctor Creek road was one of my personal highlights especially after following a dump truck from Moundsville to just North of Cameron.

Side note...Hey Bob,they are paving some of the worst parts of 250 in the Cameron area.I don't know how far it goes since we turned off at Amos Hollow.

The other guys are riding again today,so hopefully they'll check in later with a ride report.

Dropped your bike? WHAT??? Damn Denny...that's not what I wanted to hear. Glad that you guys were able to get out and enjoy the weather, and the flat, straight, and boring roads. Wish I could have joined you.

Yep, Ray can skoot right along at a good pace :) ...and.... his other buddy "Ray" (from Mass.) has no dragging brake problems either.

Yea,scratched her up pretty good.Mirror, side panel, engine cover and saddle bag.I'll get her patched up over the winter, she's too purty to leave her with those scratches.

Sorry about the drop Denny. I beat you to it by about a month and a half. My wife and son rode down to Mineral Wells two weeks ago. I couldn't believe how nice the freshly paved Rt. 9 was. Hope the ride was enjoyable minus the little drop.
