Hi all

My new TV-Web show is very close to becoming a reality.

We (myself and my co-producer) have started negotiations with a few sponsors and are just putting the final deal together. Things are close to making this a go.

I would like to ask for your support.

Please take the time to view our webisodes.

The first vid is our pilot, a short version sample done as a magazine styled “how to” show. The other is the story of the show itself done more in a reality-documentary show format which is more along the direction we are heading although we will be adding tech tips, riding tips, travel pointers etc as well as long term testing of gear I use.

The Planet Tour pilot- sample episode

If you like what you see, please rate them high. Send me your comments too so I can bring them up in our next production meeting.

[email protected]

We will be posting webisodes on various websites such as Youtube but for the full versions you will have to be a subscriber and it will be sent to you 3 times a week approx 3-4 mins in length, so they are easy to watch, even at work when you are needing a riding fix.

The good news is subscribing is free!

We will also be offering contests for gear as well as discount offers to subscribers in the future.

Our launch date for the show is set spring of 2010.

Thanks in advance. I look forward to sharing my journey and meeting some of you out there.

I got:

The error returned was:

You did not choose a poll choice to vote against. Please go back and ensure you click on one of the radio buttons next to the choice you wish to vote for

I think the problem is in the second section of the poll.

I liked what I saw, just don't go too far overboard with the music part. I find this really annoying on many of the speed channel type shows.

Nice job.

First time using the poll feature on here. Must be something I did wrong. My apology.

Hi all

Just an update. Currently we are in the slow legal aspect of negotiations with sponsors which is going even slower during the holiday season.

We are got bored sitting around and waiting so here is a vid we did just for fun while we get things set up.

If subscribed then you already should have seen this. We have had few subscriptions with invalid email addresses so if you have subscribed but have not received an email from [email protected] you may have to do it again.

Merry Christmas to all.

It's seemily just me, but I prolly won't watch. The screaming music, the split-second flashes of images, etc. give me a headache. I never have enjoyed the keep-'em-glued/constant-adjustment-of-volume/subliminal imaging of that production style.

The poll didn't work for me either but I would have voted "This show is not in the style I like".

Good luck tho. I hope it works out for you.

You'll probably make your sale. We've supported a half-dozen reality TV shows at the Gummint agency where I work and have come to realize how hard up for new content the broadcasters are. While the promos didn't do much for me (kinda the difference between watching poker and playing it) and I'm in the "wouldn't watch" group, the market is there for new content.

Good luck!

I LIKE it! I think you have a viable chance to make this idea work and be succesfull.

The poll didn't work, but I'd watch it on TV (record it) or on web.

You have a good personality, and it comes through on video. When you actually get on the road and start having 'challenges' I imagine it will make or break.

Great concept, you have big huevos, good luck!

Make it Happen, 'Just Ride'.

I'm piqued. I'd certainly check out the show once or twice. The interview piece with the woman was fun. I'd prefer a bit less of the loud music, more subtle music with the content. But on balance, I like it.

One thing I hate about so many reality shows: the reuse of footage over and over again in the same 22-minute program. Every single time after the break, they'll re-use a minute or two of material they just showed before the break. It sucks. The motorcycle shows are particularly guilty of this - only slightly better than "48 Hours" and those sensational documentary shows.

Good luck with it. Will be looking for it.

(requiring the don't like options is breaking placing a vote)

I liked it enough I would watch it for a bit (no show is perfect the first few episodes, often proving then whether they are worth more of my time).
