Twisty Butt Association ride

Have received several requests to do another TBA ride. What is a TBA ride. To successfully negotiate over 500 miles of a pre determined route of prime twisties in less than 12 hours. Quite simply it was based on the IBA standard of 1000 miles in less than 24 hours but adjusted to encompass nothing but twisties!

The date is Saturday September 19th and the ride will start and end at the HUB motorcycle resort in Marble Falls, AR. The route is comprised of the best roads that northwest AR has to offer. Additionally the route is configured so there are very few 'commuting' miles allowing you to experience quality rural twisty roads for the majority of the ride.

Would I get a certificate?

I have put it on my schedule, being the weekend before EOM it may be doubtful, but a lot could change between now and then and I have plenty of vacation time. I might bring the FZ1!

That's only 850 miles from my house. I may be in, but I have to check the hunting schedule.

Bound: You could get a certificate and a decal if you sign all waivers, complete the route in the allotted time, get all 9 'proof of presence' photos and pay a $10 entry fee.

Clock: There is already a ride scheduled for every week of September so it was tough to pick a weekend. This is also the weekend of the FJR SFO event which is also at the Hub.

HRZ: Funny you should mention that, a member of this board on our first event in 2009 road in from Florida, completed the TBA ride and then rode back to Florida. He is a monster and now facilitating TBA rides in Japan.
