Plus, that's not a backrest...it's a seat-mounted tail-bag. Seen 'em before, but can't tell ya the manufacturer.

THANK YOU!!! I've been staring at the pics going "Man that looks hideous!" and trying to figure out if it's the difference in the finish of the pipes and the paint of the silver bike that were clashing...but I couldn't put my finger on it. But you hit it...IT'S MISSING THE BAGS!

Sadly, I think that the FJR is one of the ugliest bikes without it's bags. Something about the pipe placement and the back end just looks odd. I'll reserve my judgement then until I see pics of these pipes with the bags on. I still think they might work better with other colors than our silver though.
