I wish Sacramento would do this. I have an ongoing battle with the local ballpark. They charge $10 for parking, discounted to $8 for motorcycles :angry2: Big deal, huh? Since I have season tickets, I often ride in and catch innings 2 thru 9; they stop collecting for parking at all 30 minutes after game time.

That is pretty cool. One thumbsup to Mumbles Menino  .

3 dozen MC spaces aren't much, but it's a start.

However, even with such a big perk, you won't catch me dicing it up with the Back Bay denizens.

Those peeps drive like sheot!! I'll continue take my gas guzzling full metal surround cage when I want need to go into bean town. ;)

Who the hell can afford much of anything other than parking on Newbury street? Or have things changed in the years since I've been there?

Let's see. Scooters used to park for free. Now they get charged 25 cents an hour... is something wrong with that math? :stinker:

Bikes could squeeze into odd locations, now they can't. Progress? Or just budget balancing one quarter at a time? Not to mention the folks that will be getting parking tickets for NOT using the designated spots, even if none are available. :greedy:

Finally we're getting a little respect from the meter maid.M/C parking in Boston
I'll be in Boston next week (first time ever) for some tourista visitin'.

Got a flat in Beacon Hill area and tix to the Wednesday night Red Sox game vs Cleveland Indians! I already got a Red Sox hat so I'd blend in...

Anybody in the area want to meet the wifey & I for a draft Tue-Wed-Thur of next week?
