Ok, it's taken me this long to 'get over it'

and yet

I guess I'm not

but that's ok

good things take time

like learning to understand

to appreciate what's at hand

to ride the day

when you think there is no way you can

So, emboldened by Jack,

I posted pix on the CandyButtAssociation site of Tim's celebration of life

those that knew him, hope you appreciate

for those who don't, and today on the forum there are many,

trust me, he was a good man.

Very nice Don. There's not too much time goes by when I don't think about Tim or Andrew. I wished I could have gotten to know Tim, (and Patti), although I was getting to know Andrew better because of closer local. They were of genuine and nobel character and are sorely missed. We are never guaranteed on the next day so this makes each one that much more special. Take care and blessings to you and your family. PM. <>< :good:

+1. The first pic on your CBA post shows a couple of guys that left us and their families way too early.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Dean Richard is correct, as usual; I've been to the James Dean Memorial with Fairlaner, it is in Cholame, California. Ironically, Dean normally transported his Porsche 550 Spyder to track days behind his Ford Country Squire station wagon. On the day of the crash, the Ford tow vehicle was 25 miles behind them. Odder yet, the car that turned into Dean's path was also a Ford, Custom Tudor coupe. The driver stated to the police that Dean's Porsche was rolling so fast, that he never even saw him!

I always have a little smile when my picture of those two [Tim or Andrew] from Park City WFO rolls through my screen saver. Sucks that they are gone but I glad that I got to spend time with both of them.

Well done Mr. Carver!
