My Friday night was to be a quick TBS and then onto the install of the CCS-100 cruise control. Well, I had issues with the TBS and the bike not starting which turned out (I think) to be the green electrical connector on the bottom of the tank (thanks again to everyone that posted). While sitting staring at all the electrical connection and tracing fuel lines, I spied a shiny phillips-head wood screw buried into the tread of the back tire.

So I have never plugged a hole in a tire, I got a tire repair kit that came with the Co2 inflators. Any issues that I need to know about? I have an air-compressor but I think I’ll use the Co2 inflators so I can see how well or not they do.

Thanks for any info.

Damn, I wondered where that "damn" thing went. Been looking all night.

That screw must have made its way from San Luis Obispo to you since I ran into it last Sunday

Can't comment on the Co2 inflators. I have a Slime compressor and the mushroom style plugger kit. Used them for the first time last Sunday. 1,200 miles later and the tire doesn't know the difference.
