We need to get an update out to the GP tomorrow. Anyone have issues with this?

The no worries list:
The hotel is booked and room blocks are secured.

The room price is negotiated.

The banquet rooms are secured as is the sign-up room.

The Swagmeister is dialing for dollars and arranging for on site vendor participation.

The area ride planning is well underway and many routes have been nailed down.

Fun and games are being discussed and planned.

You Iron Butt kooks should be happy campers thanks to beeroux.

Housekeeping odds and ends are being handled.

Keynote speaker has been secured.

The kinks to be worked out list:

Lee Parks' class has a couple of burps that need to have patted out.

The hotel is changing it's several year old banquet menu and services as we speak.

Other sorted details that have impact on the Registration Rally Fee.
I really think that the hotel info has to be released quickly and I would like to get the fee going as well if banquet info is going to get delayed. Speak up peeps.

I'll press tomorrow on the banquet menu and prices. He should have provided last week. And I'll work on a worksheet like I promised.

I'll know for sure in the morning, but assuming our graphics God comes through for me, the official WFO-6 web site should be online by the end of the week.

Whoever you got assembling the WFO-6 Proposed Rides, they need to start feeding them to me... even if only a few are done. Same format as last year, if you please: Sample WFO-5 Rides

They'll be on their way Tuesday evening.

Maybe just add that they should funnel suggestions and direct questions to one of the committee members, to prevent freelancing.

Remember, one of the most popular rides was planned by a local and took off to the tune of about 25 riders or more. We should make sure that the locals have all been wrung hard for ride suggestions.

Bob, lookie here! Plus Andrew says they are more finished since then. Maybe we can find others, IIRC Dale says he had someone on the line for a couple of ideas.
Yes, that would be Go Far (**** Peek), a veteran Iron Butt rider who lives right there in Park City. I'll ping on him again.

Also, I really need quite a bit of input to the web site, so I believe I'll start a dedicated thread for that effort

Go Far contacted me and we are working on a pretty cool idea. This one may not be done this week.

I've got a spiffy spreadsheet in front of me estimating revenues and expenses...but having just a bit of trouble polishing it. I REALLY think I'll have something to share by this afternoon.

Damn work has been........well.....making me work ;)
