Got the parts this afternoon, new stator cover etc etc.

Decided not to un-plug the harness that runs to the rear of the bike for the stator (too lazy).

Got the new cover fitted tonight, all snug but haven't checked the torque values, I will do that in the morning.

Good news is that the noise from the starter after the spill has gone away, probably due to the casing having moved "upwards" and the starter idle gear out of alignment.

In the morning I will do some engine cleaning as the side fairing is off then button her up. Had a good look under the tank area and around the throttle bodies for any loose stuff and fuel leaks, all good.

New sliders are on their way so I hope to receive them on Friday.

Just a little spray paint for the center stand and I am good to go.

Now I can get back on Cherry and ride her (you know what) off ya hoooooooooo :yahoo:

Ride safe.

Good to her it... :clapping:
Cherry is alive and kicking now, I wish I could say the same thing regarding the owner!

Checked the torque value on the stator cover bolts, fitted the fairing, spray painted the center stand, and checked the torque on the 3 bolts that hold the "T" brace under the tank.

I had decided to check around under the tank for any fuel leaks etc, so everything was in good order.

Went for a longish ride and came home to check for any leaks around the stator cover, all is good :yahoo:

Now I am going to get the 12,000 service when time permits.

Ride safe.
