Rec'd the following email which looks damn phishy to me. What think you?

Sorry, we were not able to deliver postal package you sent on October the 19th in timebecause the recipient’s address is not correct.Please print out the invoice copy attached and collect the package at our office.If you do not receive package in ten days you will have to pay 6$ per day. Your UPS

Scam. Not a legit tracking number or notification number. I got a similar email. The attachment is malware.

This is probably the recent Kardphisher trojan. delete immediately. Google if interested, but the jist is that it installs itself, and tries to fake windows validations screens getting you enter a credit card number.

Oh, and ALL ups tracking numbers start with "1z" and are a lot longer than that. They also don't come from [email protected]. And UPS doesn't charge people to hold packages, they return to sender. And they don't contact the addressee if they can't deliver, they return to sender. And and and... :wacko:

And there would never be an attachment to anything like that, from anybody, especially a ZIP file. It's not phishing, it's delivering bad juju.

 
I don't think that's enough digits to be a UPS tracking number - and it doesn't register on the UPS site.

 
My BitDefender antivirus has caught this several times.

Remember, NEVER open an attachment unless you have personally spoken with the sender.
