whats the mileage?
This is a used FJR that is being sold by a private party. It has 600 miles on it.

That's a good price IF the vibrating mirrors, buzzing grips, over-sprung throttle, rock-hard seat, too-soft suspension, instant-mpg display, too-large-small-wide-tall-narrow-short windshield, defective sidestand and gawd-awful color have been replaced.

Is this info from your personal experiance with the 2006 FJR or just a rant about FJR's in general?
Rant? I don't see a an overabundance of exclamation marks or capital letters. I'm just repeating what is being reported ad infinitum, ad nauseum, right here in this forum by those with personal experience with their own 2006 FJRs.

Shall I continue? There are plenty more.

Thanks for participating.
In Montana the indians would call this "The trail of tears!" :cray:

And they had a bike named after them!

Who the heck is FJR? I remember FDR, but FJR? :unknw:

CK

At 17mpg....you should average about 150 miles per hour. Are you 06er's goin' nuts or what? Nevermind....your's can't go over 145.

I guess if you were going to keep it for a while than that is good, however just for fun, I went to a local dealer, 05 under 13000 miles, mine. they said clean trade just under 9k. Yes upside down!

They of course wanted full retail for their 06! and would have to pay tax, tags and add neg equity.

Could buy a hybrid car for that price.

Or just keep buying things for this one. I would love to ride an 06 though. Seems they tried to upgrade the cosmetic appearance on it, color matched glove box, no hump on the black panels, head light adjustments on panels instead of under, etc etc.

So , the bike seems to drop 25% in value in short time, unless you were selling out right.

Needless to say, I did not pursue my next perfect bike.

That said, I thinking 08, will be time to upgrade!

$12,800

I just called and offered $12,900. Just kidding.

Considering I'm seeing the AE price tagged at $18k+ hereabouts, you would be doing well.
