Hey gang,

Time to move along my used pair of Firstgear pants... I bought them last year from an ADVRider.com member who gained a pant size and didn't get a chance to wear them much. They are 3 years old, in great condition for used pants, and have never been down or in a lowside. Yellow striping on sides and front has a small bit of bleed through from the black fabric, not a big deal but wanted to mention it. Outer pants are baggies designed to wear over your street pants, jean, etc... as thus they are meant to be purchased in your pant size, not one size larger. I am a 32W 34L and the length was fine but even cinched down all the way and worn over my kevlar jeans... these were a bit too big.

Only blemish is on the right leg down by the cuff there's an exhaust burn that original owner patched with a nice matching patch that is glued on very nicely. Legs feature 1/3 length boot zips for easy entry and plenty of pockets (2 waterproof) on front and back. Used these on a 3,000 mile trip and they worked great other than being too large for me. One 4 hour rainstorm proved they are waterproof for about 1 hour, then they started filling up as water got in through my waist. The rest of the trip they worked great, pants were laundered gently after returning and are clean and ready to wear (in spite of the funky pics they are clean).

Pants come with zip-in thermal liner which adds plenty of 4 season functionality, wore them in 32 degree weather and my legs and torso were toasty warm.

Any questions, here is the current page for Firstgear Escape pants.

Price is $125 shipped CONUS & paid via PayPal gift.

Thanks, and if you want any specific pics just let me know.

Abe

So are these 34 length or 34 waist? I am 6'4" and usually need 'long' so am worried about them riding up when riding.

Sorry, probably should have been more clear on the sizing! They are 34 waist and probably about a 33 inseam. I usually wear a 32Wx34L pant and these were okay in length but too large in the waist for me. Firstgear does sell a "tall" version and this is just the normal fit...

FWIW I'm 6' tall and 160lbs, athletic build with a triathlete's legs. Some pants (including the RevIt Sand pants I now have) don't fit me so well in the thigh area, however these have plenty of room for flexibility and movement.

Here's a few pics of them from my fall trip last year... can't guarantee how they'd fit you but if you have riding boots they should be fine. If you normally wear shorter, ankle height footwear they might ride up over the shoe. Hope these help you get an idea on length:
