Has anyone figured out how to mount a Givi Topcase over the pillion so it could also be used as a DRIVER backrest? I always ride solo (06 FJR) and like the idea of this arrangement but I don't have a Givi case (yet) and before I get one I was hoping for some local expertise. Thanks guys!

A couple of years ago someone did this mod....I can't remember which board, but if it was EZboard, their search function leaves a lot to be desired.

IIRC, he mad a bracket that allowed the Givi to be mounted where the pillion seat is. Its just been too long for this aging brain to remember.

It was about 2 years ago. Someone did fabricate a bracket and mounted the Givi in the pillion location. Trimmed the edge with naughahyde covered aluminum, IIRC.

I don't think this is anything you'd be able to buy so it looks like you better get your thinking cap on and start sketching..... :)

On my '05 with Tanji fuel cell I'm using the Givi pad as a headrest. See my board photo.
