I bought a new Ducati Paul Smart 1000LE last month and have been riding, farkeling and generally playing with it since.

Yesterday it was pretty here in Alabama so I took the FJR out for a jaunt. I had already forgotten how great this bike is. The weather protection is good,it is quiet (compared to a Duc)and smoothe as silk. The monster torque means you can shift if you want and cruise if you want. The ride is great (I'm Wilbers front and back)and the handeling is good.On the Duc,the ride is good and the handeling is great.

In short---The FJR is a GREAT BIKE. If I could have only one this would surely be it.

Happy New Year!

Cheers mate. You're right - the FJR is an ace number one, shit hot, pluplus perfect, superlative ride. Basically the bugger is brilliant!

Ducati NA is trying to sell out. There is 3 years worth of Ducati inventory in the USA at the moment. You may have a collectors item you lucky devil!

Ducs are cool but don't we need to at least think about Yamaha's version of the Ducati.

Guess which one this is. Anyone?

Ahh...I bet that's too easy...since some of you guys already have one.

The Brutale is a sweet looking bike. Be a harder charger now they put the big engine in it. The Italian bikes certainly have character.

But this one gets the girls! :bleh:

There's that model from Milan again!

And, anyway, who wants to work on their bike every time they get ready to ride? :D

Here's the FJR jr. ...it's way faster!

Now, hey there repair dude, I'll have you know that while I was fueling up my 05 for the first time (after burning off the half-tank the dealer graciously provided) many months ago, I had the opportunity to score an 'S4'...a Shell Station Slurpee Skank, who was hangin' out & approached me after eyeballing the Feej...there she was in all her glory, near the payphone after just hanging up with her baby's daddy, sporting tight polyester shorts from Target, complete with a stained cut off T-shirt, lamenting about her Western Auto circa 1982 10 speed bicycle... "I wish I could ride that!" came the request...I thought for a moment...I am an RBAM (Red Blooded American Male) after all, but no, I had to decline...I mean, I would have taken her home, but I have a dog.... ;)
