V Stream Install (07) Question

In the process of installing the new shield and discovered a foam gasket glued to the original windshield.

Doesn't look like it's easily removable.

Make a new one...or do without????? :huh:

I made a new one out of the foam that came with the new windshield, seems to work ok. Cannot say that I really needed to tho.

THANKS for the advice.

I just got finished doing the same.

All the holes lined up perfectly.................

Now for the real test!!!!

Nothing came off with my original shield and I added nothing to the V-Stream. It works great. (See yesterdays write-up elsewhere in this forum)
