Valentine or Escort Radar 8500

I missed out on the last used Valentine Radar detector (was 6th in line) ...bummer. Would prefer Valentine, but a Escort 8500 would also work. I've seen the 8500's for sale on Ebay, but would rather purchase used from a member.
