Vauge feeling

Lately my FJR1500 is feeling weird in the handling area.. Me front end seems sluggish.. 4 clicks on that thing on the top,and 57 turns on the screw on the fork leg..

I'm using a PR 4.5 with 28 psi. Plus I have 22 quarts of Royal pink in me arse..an 3 pints in da fork leggs. Kan anyone help me?

Assuming it isn't just Sunday morning posting, here are a few of things to check, in increasing order of 'pain in the ***':

- Tire tread - wearing with a ridge?

- Cold tire pressure - 39 lbs min, 42 max

- Check the torque on the front steering bearing

- Front wheel bearings

- Check the fork oil level

- Swing arm bearings

I thought maybe he was ridin' with his pecker hard up against the tank (getting numb from the vibrations) and getting his liquor through an IV!!!!

I rode a tricked out Ducati 748 for about 20 minutes yesterday. Between the clip on's and the tank hump... I think my grapes are angry at me.

1. Do not read any posts on this forum that even resemble someone whining or crying that "the FJR just isn't right for them" This will only lead to a worsening of your condition.

2. Go ride your FJR. If possible ride it in the vicinity of ordinary, lesser motorcycles. This should be relatively easy since almost all other motorcycles will seem ordinary in the presence of an FJR.

3. Bring your engine to redline as often as possible during your ride. The sound of Real Power is sure to increase the testosterone in your system which will alleviate most of your current problems.

4. Watch a John Wayne movie. Almost any of them will do, but I will recommend The Cowboys. Rewind and watch the entire fight scene between John Wayne and Bruce Dern at least 3 times. It is OK if you tear up a little when the Duke gets killed.

5. If you have a big bore handgun, go fire it.

If this doesn't help you, let us know. You may be beyond help in which case there is Yellow Honda Pacific Coast with your name on it.
