So far not so good. A lot of the vendors I've contacted have either said no, or not responded at all. These include vendors who have supported WFO in the past, as well as vendors I worked with for EOM. I've also been too busy to put as much time and effort as I would have liked. Very disappointed in myself. I'm still sending emails and making calls every day, but any help would be much appreciated.

Yamaha: I have no specific contact. My old contact from EOM no longer works there. I keep repetedly getting sent to, and then dismissed by, the marketing department. They have told me they aren't sponsoring these types of events, but I doubt that. I'm just not getting to the right people.

BikeEffects: donating parts

N-line Accessories: donating parts

New Enough: Donated 2 $35 gift certificiates

Cyclegear: The local store is donating some gift cards. The local manager is trying to get me in contact with one of the Spokane stores to see if they want to help us out further.

Gaurald: donating parts

Cycleport/Motoport: Talked with Wayne. He wasn't happy about his experience in Park City, and was upset no one contacted him last year for NAFO. I don't know the back story there. He seemed interested until he asked how many attendees. When I told him 100-150, he abruplty dismissed himself from the phone call. He's not returning emails.

Other no responses so far: Heli, Remus, Muzzys, Superbrace

Other no's: Parts Unlimited, Tucker Rocky

Still to contact: FJR Goodies/DVPS, Local dealer in Moscow, Aerostich/Riderwarehouse

Contacted recently, not yet recieved reply: Gary McCoy of Mondak Motorsports

Travis, doing the vendor contact thing sucks. I appreciate you doing this for the group.

Dale, do you have any access into Yamaha?

Updates from today:

Mondak Motorsports: sending a box of goodies

Muzzy's: Donating something, not sure what yet. At EOM '06 they sent a full slip on system.

Yamaha: Finally said the right words to get through the receptionist. Not sure what they were. I got into Jennifer's voice mail, but she's out until Monday. They are supposedly sponsoring EOM this fall, so I don't know why they wouldn't help us out.

Left messages with Aerostich and Michelin.

Thanks, Travis, keep it up !

Travis-

Not sure if you have contacted some of the EOM sponsors yet, But if you would like me to talk to Jason about it, I would be happy to help. Everyone is feeling the pinch these days, And cutting costs. It sucks.

I tried to make WFO happen this year, But it just was not meant to be for me this year... :( Stupid economy and slow work.

Go for it !!

Let's add Fuzeblocks.com and Sampson Sport Touring to the supporting list.

I just got confirmation from Curt and Terry.

Way to grind it out guys! Vendor swag is tough stuff and sometimes demoralizing.

From my 10' poll perspective....that list seems increasingly decent to me! :yahoo:

I'll be planning to have a printer and laptop at the event again...so we can gin up certificates if needed.

Yamaha is still a no-contact at this point. Jennifer was supposed to be on Monday (yesterday), and today she's supposed to be back now at the end of this week. No one else is apparently able to handle these questions.

OK - so if I read this right, as of this post time,
Supporting vendors are:

Bike Effects- Sending Gift Certificate

N-Line-?

New Enough- Two $35 Gift Certificates

Cycle Gear- Two different stores are donating Gift Cards, not sure of amounts yet.

Garauld- ?

Mondak- Box on the way, unsure of contents

Muzzy- Sending $200 Gift Certificate, plus 150 discount coupons for the registration packs (Matt, I'll send those ahead to your attention if there's time, so they can be stuffed)

Local shop support: Revolution Motorsports, LLC.
Correct, updated with details I know at this time.

That's fine with me Ray. My contact there was laid off recently...

Box from Mondak showed up today. It includes a Yamaha mesh jacket, several Tshirt, mini flash lights, a couple of oil filters and a pocket multi-tool.

Way cool !!

Curt Gran shipped me a Fuzeblock today, Terry Smith and Ron Sampson approved a $50.00 off coupon for hyperlights or a bead rider.

This is shaping up !!

Got the gift certificate, and 150 10% off coupons from Muzzys.

A box just showed up from Nline with several kickass FJR shirts, and about 144 WFO-8 bottle openers/key chain fobs. Pretty kick-*** if you ask me!
