We share a lot of information about the FJR in this forum, and I want to share with you the vendors, manufacturers and friends of the riding community that specifically support the FJR through their products, by donating gifts and providing seminars to FJR riders at the upcoming Western FJR Owners Gathering (WFO) in Park City Utah.

I really want to thank these vendors for contributing to the fun, education, safety, farkles and gear for our FJRs! They will all be at WFO and I would like to share their information with you all so that you can return their favor of supporting us.

When we asked Gary McCoy, the General Manager at U Motors he said, "You bet! I've been supporting the FJR guys for about three years and they have been really very good to me. I'm going to get very hands on with the FJR community in the future!"

Thank you Yamaha, and thanks to all the vendors supporting what promisses to be a really incredible WFO!!!

I hope to see many, many of you there!</div>

More vendors are soon confirming their intentions and I will update this thread as they do :) Stay tuned!

The next informative post will contain the incredible rides that own Cdogman of Utah has prepared for us. A FJR friend in Colorado told me the best riding he has ever done was in Utah...I can't wait to see if I agree!

Frank be presently pimped with a set of Mickey Roads supplied by FJR Goodies (now Desert Valley Powersports) from last years WooFoo, hard won by the performance of a lifetime, to the horror of many  Yami supplied everyone attending with some awesome hats and Yami logo keychains as well. The chance to talk with the farkle and parts suppliers we all depend on was worth the trip alone; these guys are the best. I don't believe anyone left without getting something, even the SO's had something in their hand when they left. Looks like a nice line-up Andrew-good job!

Holy Schmoly! I knew you were a busy boy, but dang! Excellent work Orangie! :good:

I know you've arranged for some killer swag from these folks... Now, how to rig the numbers. ;)

Hey...lest he be forgot, Dale brought in a fare share of these vendors too! This has been a team effort from the start and the credit goes to the vendors. I dodn't have to do much convincing...the ones that said yes said yes fast and with no coercion needed. Kinda spoiled my fun...but...

Nice Job!

I already support many of these vendors:

BikeJohnny is where I orginally started by farkling with the engine armour and Moko Sliders on my '04.

SportbikeEffects...Jeff is the best at customer satisfaction. He just happens to be a great guy and a good rider whom we enjoy on our NorCal rides.

Skyway is the farkle-designer-from-hell. I swear he is in cahoots with my banker to keep me broke. Dang, dang, dang! And his stuff is teriffic!

University Motors is your friend...if you ever need official Yamaha OEM pieces. In fact, my last order included extra fairing bolts, clips and other assorted parts that can vibrate off and disappear. (Uhm...did I mention extra windshield screws? You know, the one's everyone complains that they stripped? And you don't have an extra 7 in case? Or extra vacuum caps for use when you drop on during a TBS? Duh!) Really, a couple of emails and one phone call and they didn't miss a thing I needed or wanted. They ARE the best!

BrydenScot's stuff is great. I don't own any but I remember when Scott was at WFO-2 (in Santa Rosa) with his first iteration of accessory shelves. You really must see his creations to appreciate them.

I've been thinking about the CyclePort stuff and now Andrew is joining my farkle-tempter-from-hell list (with Ian).

You guys are spending waaaayyyy too much time trying to devise ways to spend my hard-earned ducats. I'm not independantly wealthy like TWN and Radman! :bleh:

TWO seat makers? You guys need to check out the seats these guys make. My custom seat changed me from a 200 mile-per-day candy-a$$ to an all day rider. In fact, there were only 3 things I was able to harvest from by totalled '04: the BikeJohnny radiator shield, the Givi rack, and my custom seat.

I just quickly glanced at the PremierCyycle site......

Man-oh-man-oh-man-oh-man-oh-man-oh-man.......

NOTE TO SELF: That's an Elm tree in the front yard, not a money tree. That's an Elm tree in the front yard, not a money tree. That's an El....

And if you want to keep more of that money, register early as the disounted rooms are almost gone!!!

I have done business with Uni Motors and that was on the advice from the peeps here. I have a E52 Mono Givi on the way. Not here yet but not late. What I can say is once I told them I was from the forum and the bike I was on they transferred me to "The Man" who knew the most about the bike and the Givi gear. Hell. I dont know what all I need to put this on the bike. Thew guy at Uni Motors did though and I simply told him "I want everything I need to make it go and a backrest for my pillion." This all took like three minutes and WHAM!!

It is indeed nice to do business with professionals, rather than them making you feel like they are doing you a favor even talking to you.

Nice folks.

I now know who I will do business with in the future..... If you want a copy of my vendor list just scroll up. I have my list right above this post.

Thanks to our sponsers!!

WOW!!! Way to go guys!!

I can foresee this WFO costing me bigtime in the farklebucks department.

Better prime the pump now...Oh dear...would you like a backrub? What's that...a cup of tea? Of course...Earl Grey? Cut the grass? I'll get right to it! Do I mind if you go shoe shopping...not at all!

Andrew is securing some serious swag from the more than generous vendors. I might suggest a few good deeds between now and then to improve your karma/juju/luck/mojo. And, we'll have some nifty contests for swag, as well. So, as you see, money may not be needed for the goodies! ;)

I should have responded when you added U-motors....they are really "THE BEST" to deal with. Knowledgeable, quick and honest.
