This is your personal invitation to attend our Annual New Years Day Polar Bear Run.

Denny please send this to your contact list. Everyone else please feel free to pass the word to any of your riding friends, everyone is welcome. We WILL ride regardless of the temperature. The only reason the ride would possibly be canceled would be due to slick roads. If you have questions please call me, phone number is 812-618-5540.

Location: Meet at the Best Buys parking lot at the corner of the Lloyd Expressway (highway 66) and Burkhardt Road

Evansville, In.

Date: Thursday January 1, 2009.

Time: Meeting time is 12:00 noon, DEPARTURE time is 12:30 PM.

Length of ride will be under 100 miles but everyone is welcome to peel off at any time.

Ride will end at Buffalo Wild Wings on Green River Road between The Lloyd Expressway and Morgan Avenue.

Many of us will have our family/friends meet us at Buffalo Wild Wings after the ride between 3:00 and 3:30 PM.

This is our 5th or 6th annual ride, there is no cost to participate. I hope you will join us.

No matter where I go there I am, and in two days tomorrow will be yesterday ~ ! !

Regards & Semper Fi

Bob J.

Ride report:

It was a pretty good turnout for the first day of the riding year. We had 30 players. Not all had electrics so not all made the whole 92 miles. We had some come out for just the fun, a real old beemer with a side hack and a Harley with a side hack as well. Lots of vintage scoots and a Bergman and a Silver Wing too. Warmed up to 40F for a while which was nice cus we kept ridin' a bit longer. All in all a good day for me 406 miles with the trip from my house to Evansville and back included.
