Back in the early 80's was looking at snowmobiles. Had narrowed it down to two, John Deere and Yamaha. Ended up with the yami and the next year Deere completely pulled out of the snow market. No parts, service, etc. Market changes will affect any major manufacturer, they are in it to make money. As long as the motorcycle market stays as strong as it is, I would love a Vegas for a second for a stable mate for the FJR.

I had a friend with an 8 ball. he didn't keep it long but he liked it. (new bike every few months) Now his V-strom is for sale in the classifieds.

He did fine with it in the twisties.

But....

I can attest from personal experience that the FJR will spank the 8 ball!
