I just got an e-mail with the assistance list attached, very nice!

I always take my iPod with me, and so it seems like a good idea to put the list on it. Does anyone do that? Can it be done?

It can be done, let me do mine and I will post up instructions in the morning with some screen shots.

Sorry for the delay getting this posted!!

The easiest way to put the Assistance List on your iPod is as follows:

You can sync you iPod with either the Windows Contacts or Outlook Contacts. The first step is to open the assistance list in Excel and do "save as". Under file type choose "tab delimited". Once you save it as a .csv file you can easily import it into either your Windows Contacts or Outlook contacts. In either instance you will choose file, import and select the file you created. You can map the list to the appropriate fields. I used the forum name and mapped it to "nick name" in my contacts, Services offered to "notes" and then of course phone number to main number.

Once imported you open iTunes and click on you iPod on the left. One of the tabs at the top says contacts. Choose which contacts to sync with and it will automatically update your ipod with the list of contacts.

Hope this helps! Let me know if you have any questions. If you have trouble saving the file to the correct format drop me a PM and I can email it to you.
