Vintage Days at Mid-Ohio

Anybody into a really good time of riding and racing don,t miss this one. Bunch of my buddies and I will be down there all weekend, come join us. Planning on riding Fri. and Sat. afternoons in SE. Ohio then camping all weekend, watching the races all day on Sun. and packing it in. Plenty of room for anyone who want's to join us. Have to bring your own sleeping bag though. No sharing with a buddy. If interested PM. me. Just for a head count only. Ride Safely. Dave

Dave ,, I use to go to Vintage Days every year and spend most, if not all the weekend there...

But the last few years I haven't been going much.. Plus I'm retired now ,, which means

I seem to have less free time now than when I was working..??

Anyway I'm not sure if I might run up there for one day of not,,,

Dave, I'd love to ride S.E. Ohio this weekend...but I have my son's 18th B-day/Graduation party...lots of work to do. I was looking for you at the races yesterday. Did you get my voice mail? I need some twisties soon

Guy's, I thought that last weekends poor response to the super bikes was pathetic at best. It seems Joe, were the only ones who can type here . No buddy else wants to go? Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've gone the last couple years but this year our man-trip pushed some things I have to do at home to this weekend

My buddy and had a room reserved, but decided since the weather was soooooooo sweet we would take in a day trip in Central WV.

Perhaps next year.

Hey Guy's, Of course everyone who made it had a great weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!Attendance was down obviously from previous years [probably economics for most of them {us}] The weather also played a factor for some of them as well, because the weather reports were calling for rain. Real quick report, for those of you who know me I couldn't resist riding in S.E. Ohio so on Fri. afternoon, after dropping off all the camping stuff we all headed down towards Marrietta, rode the "Triple Nickel" down to the River and back up to 550, west to Athens. Bunked at Super 8. Rode most of Sat. in the rain back up to Mid-Ohio. Riding in the rain can be tricky if your not really careful [Obviously] had one of our group go down on an off camber, down hill, right hander. Scraped up his H.D. something fierce but was able to walk away. No blood, no foul. Haven't talked to him yet this morning but by the way he was limping around on Sun. my guess he'll be really sore today. All in all 675 on the ticker, another great weekend, all good.
