I have been thinking for a while about having a virtual long distance rally. By virtual I mean setting up a website or yahoo group and inviting riders to join, then having a start and finish date (3 month period or so).
Have each member post a photo of their odometer at the beginning and again at the end. Also, have bonus locations selected randomly and posting them weekly. You will get points for overall mileage and for bonus locations. The bonus location scoring will be based on the distance the location is from your home. So if the location is in tennessee, then you would get more points for this location if you live in Utah than you would if you live in Georgia. Still coming up with ideas and I am open to any input. Anyone interested?
