Wanted: Busted Garmin 2610 or similar

I need the USB board from a broken Garmin. Specifically, this type

So if you've crashed and broke it, tossed it across the shop, drop kicked it, or whatever. If you want to part with that small little piece, i could put it to good use

This is the board that I'm in need of. Split the GPS and remove 2 screws to pull the board. Easy More than willing to pay shipping plus a few $ for the trouble

I called Garmin trying to get a replacement board and found there tech support totally infuriating. They wanted me to send the unit in and spend $200 (flat repair rate) to replace a part that can't cost more than $10. Good thing I took the parts to work today to try and solder them back together. I had to use a microscope, 2 different soldering irons, a 1/2 hour and 2 trys, but I did manage get them back together. I just tested it out, and it works great! Woo Hoo!

So in a nutshell, crisis averted, carry on
