I should have a service manual if I'm gonna keep farkling and fixing.

I think the book I need is LIT-11616-FJ-02. With so many riders trading up to the 06's, there must be some left over manuals out there. How much? Have Paypal.

Thanks,

Charlie

Charlie, check ebay listing under fjr1300 manual, there are two paper versions available, not mine, they are out of NY.
Fossil,

Thanks for the tip. I checked Ebay and one of the two is the one I need. The other is for the '06.

I may lurk around here for a couple of days and see if any forum members come up with one. Would rather spend money here.

I would like a copy of the same manual. Will take the second one available.

There actually two manuals for the FJR (1st generation). The standard manual covers the FJR '03 through '05 except for the ABS feature. Since it was an option, a seperate manual addresses the ABS. It is titled FJR 1300 Supplementary Service Manual LIT-11616-17-27. If you have a non-ABS bike, this manual is not necessary to have. If you have an ABS equipped '04 or '05 and want to be able to do maintenance on the Anti-Lock Brakes, then you need this manual.

I have one and would be glad to sell it if anyone is interested. How does $35 plus shipping sound.

I'm only slightly confused, which is often. Is the manual you wish to sell the standard, or the supplemental for ABS only? If it is the standard, what year is on the manual?

Thanks, Charlie
