Thanks Rocket, but merely listing the OEM part number in an eBay auction doesn't necessarily mean that the item is an OEM part. I'm 99.99% sure these are after-market mirrors. Thanks for looking though!

Thanks Rocket, but merely listing the OEM part number in an eBay auction doesn't necessarily mean that the item is an OEM part. I'm 99.99% sure these are after-market mirrors. Thanks for looking though!

I bought my pair from University Motors. About the same price.

I think you're right about the eBay ad, though. Don't think Yamaha makes the OEM mirrors in "carbon fiber". Think I'll send the vendor a message and tell him to clear up his ad. Very deceiving. I should have looked closer before posting. :blink:

I agree. He could have said, "Compares to OEM part #...." or something similar. The carbon option was the tell-tale sign though! Do you happen to have the web address for University Motors? I just Googled it and I think I may have found the place you refer to, but I just want to be sure. Thanks!
