Best price I have found on an OEM grip kit new is Stadium Yamaha in Irving, TX. I am trying to figure out if we can use the Kawasaki grip kit for the Concours. The dial is the same not sure about the connectors or grip length. The Kawi kit is half the price of the mamayamma kit.

One went on ebay with a BIN of 299 shipped.

I'd be shocked if the Kawi was plug & play on the FJR - the knob may be the same, but the throttle tube, wiring snd connectors are possibly (probably) different, not to mention that the 'speed sensitive' feature is likely unique to the Feej.

Honda's grips & controller are always an option.

I'd suggest holding out for OEM Yamaha. Be patient, especially if you get outbid. I looked for 6 mos. and won with a bid of $193.50! No joke.

I've been looking for a right side heated grip for my ride - I have been scrutinising every one that's come up on eBay for 2 years - there was one set of grips only that showed up out of the UK, but the seller didn't want to ship to NorthAm. The rest, with the singular exception of one that was active last week with the BIN of $299 (it didn't hit the reserve, which must have been the same as the BIN, because it ended at $289) were all well over $300.

They can be found from time to time - I paid $250 for the ones on my ride - but it all depends on just how patient you want to be. I'd likely go for the Honda grips if I didn't already have most of an OEM setup on my machine.

If anyone reading is scrapping a bike with a working right side OEM heated grip, PM me please. I just will not pay Yamaha $230 for the right grip as a part.
