So far I've tried a VStream and a Cee Bailey w/flip. The VStream is not as quiet or tubulence free as I thought it would be for such a large piece. I like the Cee Bailey but I think it would work better if the top of the shield was closer to the rider.

I'm really intrigued by the Rifle. It appears that in the full down position the top of the shield is actually lower than a shield of similar size because of the rear-ward pitch. I'm assuming that it would also be farther back in the up position as well. Owners of a Rifle please correct me if I'm wrong.

Anyway I'd like to try a Rifle or Cee Bailey without the flip, but I don't want to pay for brand new items for the sake of experimentation. Anyone have one laying around? They don't have to be in perfect condition, just safe to use.

I'm 5'7ish so anything higher than 3" or 4" over stock height is too tall for me.

Thanks, Bill

I've got a CalSci Medium windshield laying around - it's 2.5" higher than stock.

clicky

It did help with the wind noise but I like how the stock shield sheds the rain from my visor almost like it's not raining! So I'm willing to live with the noise - I just wear earplugs.

If that works for you I'll make you a good deal on it. It's in great shape only rode with it a couple times before deciding against it.

I know you purchased my Cee Bailey a while back but don't rule out the yamaha tall screen. I have a cal sci medium, and while it is pretty quiet and the yamaha tall is not, the airflow from the yamaha tall is pretty good for me and it is cheap. The cal sci is much larger and it a little turbulent, like the cee bailey was for me. Plus the yamaha tall looks the best on the bike hands down, no barn door effect.

I have a Cee Bailey +2 / +4 standard contour I am selling. It's only a month old with

few miles on it. Original box and unopened bottle of polish(!). It was for an '08.

Make me an offer.
