I seem to recall some pix of an led array that lit up to warn of radar alerts. I just broke my pp-04 cable on the StarCom1 Advanced so I've lost my audio warning. If I remember correctly, the device had some kind of audio trigger that would illuminate the led array. Anyone remember this and/or know if they are still available? TIA dcarver

Hey D,

I have the one that came from Aerostitch. Basically the same thing. I think it works great if you mount it at an angle so the lights shine directly toward your eyes. If not the brightness is diminished somewhat. The auto mute function must also be turned off on the X50. I have mine mounted in the center of an n/line dash with the Escort mounted off to the side.

Thanks Bill! I've left vmail for Jeff at SportBikeEffects.. I'm going to get another cable but think both would be good... having visual and audio.. sometimes I turn the audio down when I want to concentrate and or hear the bike and road surfaces.. Appreciate the input..
