I now know why its called a saddle sore. From Indy to DesMoines in the rain. Then one day going from DesMoines IA to Keystone SD that bout killed us 800 miles in 18hrs 15 of it riding, I just had to take the backroads. We had a truck park in a curve in Yellowstone that almost actually killed us. I got stopped but still had to take the ditch to miss the truck. Then we burned up in the Idaho desert till we hit the Oregon mountains. Then a quick hitch down through CA on 395 and into Reno. :yahoo:

Nate

Sweet. 11 bucks for the internet. They only charge you for the internet there to rile you so you'll try to beat them at the tables. LOL...then they get you again!

Bounce.....yes ....at 35mph in Yellowstone the corner was blind to me and the truck was out of my sight. You can now tell us all how you would have done it so much better. :p

Galaxy it was good ridin' !! Hot as hell but fun. Thanks for having the guts to teach this Indiana boy how to lanesplit.

Actually, they charge you for the internet only if you're not paying attention to the WFO threads....

Free wireless connectivity is available in several areas around the Hilton. Have a latte at the Java Coast shop on the casino floor; it is one of several hot spots for free wi-fi service.

For the record: I hate you guys.

(I wanted to fly in, but couldn't because of work)

Hope y'all have lots of fun, but I doubt that will be a problem.

I asked at the desk when I got in and was told only internet available was in the room. If you think about it I had to GET a connection to read the other thread. I am now in the coffe shop writing this thanks to your tip. I just got my money back too I went and complained and got it off my bill.

Not saying that.

Are you not in the camp of learning from other people's mistakes so those same mistakes don't have to be learned by each rider on their own?

Discussing "events" and learning from them has been a core process for the riders I know.

Bounce..point taken...lesson learned. As always after a get off and having the slow mo movie now in my head I can see where I might have kept the shiny parts off the ground. Now that i have practiced stopping on a 45 deg. bank in a rocky ditch I will be ready for next time. Should have let it roll a bit further.
