We thinking about a fall tech meet?

Looking at the front tire the other day - might have to rustle up some PR2s since the front is getting ready for replacement.

Still need to finish wiring my driving lights, too - may have a bum centech fuse block, though - must troubleshoot at some point...

Anyway, just starting a thread to get folks thinking out loud...you know... instigating 'n all... *whistles*

Yes, I was going to wait until the core group was together at WCR to set the date. I was thinking the 2nd or 9th of October.

WCR is 9/9-12.

BluFJR has the Windy Ridge run set for 9/25.

I wasn't sure if there was going to be a Maupin run this year or not? (Who organized it last year BluFJR, Niehart? Can't remember.)

I want to make sure it doesn't interfere with other rides.

If you need to do something sooner, get a hold of me and let's see if we can get it done. I have Panman's Starcom to install when he can get down this way.

Sadly, I'm still on stock tires - no PR2s here yet...and with just under 5K on the Black Barge, I'm already seeing lots of wear on the tread and even some freakin' cracking in the rain grooves...

Thanks for the tip Marcus - snagged a set for just under $260 with the current coupn code. Went with the "B" version for the rear, hence the added cost.

Duane, get rid of those POS stock tires. Get some new ones and come on down to change them out. The only regret you will have is why did you wait so long to change them.

Duane, get rid of those POS stock tires. Get some new ones and come on down to change them out. The only regret you will have is why did you wait so long to change them.

Done and DONE. New PR2's en route. Geez, you guys are a BAD influence...LOL

I'll be checking/changing fluids and checking/relubing the rear drive while the VStrom guys change out sprockets and flush brake fluid. Should be a fun experience. :blink:
