Bought new in February of 2011. 25,000 miles. Maintenance records included. Rotella oil and either genuine Yamaha or Purolator PureOne oil filters used since new. NGK Iridium spark plugs installed @ 16,000 miles

Lots of Extra’s, not interested in parting out farkles:

Garmin Zumo 665 GPS w/XM Antenna installed, Bluetooth ready, car mount, computer cable, etc

MC Cruise fully electronic cruise control www.mccruise.com

Givi V46 trunk with Givi Monokey Rack, and additional trunk bag.

Escort 8500i Radar detector w/reservoir mount. Hardwired, audio plug in under the seat

V-Stream windshield (stock included also)

Uninstalled fuzeblocks.com fuzeblock FZ-1 w/road runner bracket: https://www.fjrforum.com/forum//index.php/topic/126617-genii-fuse-box-bracket/

FZ-1 Mirrors (stock mirrors included also)

Real Time Industries reflective logo decals on saddle bags

2 Ram mounts, one on the clutch lever perch for the GPS, and another stem nut mount, which I used for my phone.

Wynpro Bigfoot kick stand plate

Cobra exhaust shields to keep from melting the heal of your boots

OES Frame Sliders

Rapid Transit Tank Bag

Techspec tank protector

New Shinko tires with less than 500 miles on them.

This bike is set up for long distance riding and is fully ready to go. Needs nothing. Mechanically the bike is 100%. Cosmetically it has 2 minor blemishes. The Givi trunk has rub marks on the lid from where the XM antenna cable sits and the wind moving it around. The 2nd is on the right hand side saddle bag there are some scratches from when the bike fell over in a gravel parking lot, as well as a very very small dent on the bottom of the muffler. They aren’t very noticeable, so I never bothered to get it fixed. I’ll include pics of the blemishes. Other than that, the bike looks amazing and is in fantastic shape.

Seems like everyone always asks the reason for selling so here you go. A couple reasons, I have a new born son, so he demands time and money, both of which the FJR require as well, this bike is meant to travel across the country, and that type of travel is just not in the cards for me for the foreseeable future. The other reason is, it seems like every weekend I have available to ride it is on the dirt bikes, so this bike just isn’t getting used like it should right now.

NADA shows average retail at $12,620, not including the several thousand dollars in farkles.

I’m selling this for $10,000 firm, if I can’t get that out of it I’ll just keep it.

Thanks,

Josh

Now for the pics!

wow, that's a screaming deal. Don't know of anyone seriously looking, but I sent it to them anyway.

Holy Crap!

I wish I had the $$ for this one. I love this color and all the farkles you got ('cept the Shinkos)

Your loss is someone else's VERY good deal. This should sell fast.

Thanks Wheaton, you know I grew up in Glen Ellyn, I could be convinced to do another SS1000 and deliver it to you and visit some friends!

The Shinkos actually aren't bad at all, I've previously only run PR2's but on my last trip back from the Midwest cords were showing when I got to Omaha, it was a Monday and there was only one shop open in the state it seemed like and this is what they had. They seem plenty grippy, not sure about wear, seem fine in the wet.

Now dang it...don't you be tryin' to tempt me!!!

Bump, also, riding to work on Wednesday I got a non-repairable flat on the rear tire, so, if a potential buyer comes forward soon, I will include a new rear tire of their choice installed. Otherwise in a couple weeks I'll order a tire of my choice. Due to work travel I won't be riding it till then. Btw, mileage is now around 25,700ish.
