Wet is stuff falling from the sky: What in the hell is it? Chandler gets 9.25" of that rain stuff a year, 5.5" fell in five hours: The World is Ending! JSNS!

If Papa Chuy Viejo wanted to live in a god damned sodden and wet hellhole, I'd live in a third world and backwards region: Like Canada, eh Hosers!

The Horror: My swimming pool is only four inches from overflowing and they are forecasting more rain!

The Carnage: My RV/Boat storage yard with puddles of that wet stuff standing! How do I get rid of it? Never seen this before!

The Destruction: My ruined gravel driveway to my RV/Boat storage yard. Dios Mio, how in the hell will I negotiate this quagmire?

No fear, that is the base that tequila, beer and Redbreast is built on.

Keep a ladder handy so you can get on your roof and study film from Katrina, it looked like shopping got real good there for a while.

We are waiting to hear from family in Cave Creek. That Creek part is worrisome.

https://www.weather.com/news/southwest-flooding-update-20140908 Alan, Interstate 10 is still closed and they just reopened I-17 and US 60; Loops 101 and 202 are down to one lane in both directions. Went over to Miss Donna's house ten miles away from mine, put sandbags around her back patio doors to keep from flooding her wood floors!

You've posted the wrong picture, that must be your foot-bath. No way is that little pool big enough for all af you to get in, let alone for you to swim in it ;) .

Ah, so you can at least sit in it. And apparently have wet dreams.

Fixed.

Truly sorry to hear of storms doing destruction in the Valley of the Blast Furnace. For better or worse it will not stop us from teasing Don.

To answer Don's question on navigating the quagmire in his driveway - well hell get out your Dual Sport bike and have some fun for once without going to Mexico! It could be the Mother of All Dirt Bike Rides right in Chandler AZ! And just think the Margarita's are nearby for post ride festivities.

Those CA guys are waiting for Don to show them how this rain thing works. Don gets rivers of mud. In CA, right after the rain puts out the fires it will slide the hills into the valleys where the earthquakes will shake it like a bowl of jello.

First of our AZ based family sez:

RAINING here! Such a surprise! I woke around 2:30am to it absolutely PISSING down with rain - and, since there are no gutters in most places in AZ, the rain was pouring off the roof right outside my bedroom window... The noise! The rain went on all night - hard rain. I guess at 4:45am I got one of those god-awful warnings on my phone (flash floods) but my phone is sent to DND from 11pm to 6am. Still raining now - seems so odd!"

In the Northwest, folks like Pops Niehart and his groupies call that Seattle Sunshine. Hardly slows them down anymore.
